The volume presents a critical edition of the first German translation of the De revolutionibus, which originated in the late sixteenth century and was largely the work of Raimarus Ursus (1551-1600). This text, never printed before, is made more accessible by means of an extensive glossary of Latin and Early Modern High German terms.
