Volume 6 addresses the sections on preparation for the main hearing (§§ 212 to 225a StPO) and the first part of the procedures for conducting the main hearing (up to § 255a StPO). The 2017 Act for a more effective and practical design of criminal procedure modified §§ 213, 254, 244, 251, and 254; this is the first legal commentary to comprehensively explain these changes.
