The number of people from ancient Miletus that are known through literature and inscriptions is comparable only to the one of Athenians. They are all collected in this prosopography, which will serve as basic manual for regional, social and historical studies concerning the Milesians. Every name is presented with all ancient as well as modern references to each person, including historical information and known family-connections.
