Purveyors of theological-political Sunday speeches and theological-academical discussions alike have tried to self-assuringly latch onto his talk of the lasting relevance of the "Jewish-Christian tradition", the "rescuing appropriation of religious contents" and his call for a cooperative project of translation within "post-secular society". Stephan R.
