STeP 2014 has been organized by the Informatics Faculty of the Furtwangen University of Applied Sciences. The conference proceedings include papers on IT safety, virtualization, and production for cyber physical systems. Contributions by young researchers on the topics of privacy in on-the-fly computing, web services security, manipulation of QR codes, and penetration testing are also featured.
