This monograph presents the philosophical work of Abd ar-Ramn Badaw' one of the Arab world's first existential philosophers. The author analyzes Badaw's existential and cultural philosophical writings and explores the philosophical discourses they negotiated as they emerged within multiple overlapping intellectual and political contexts.
