Studies that appear in the series are distinguished by their innovative nature and ability to close lacunae in the research. In this way, the series is a venue for the latest findings in scholarship on Kant.

Ein zentrales Anliegen von Kants Kritik der reinen Vernunft ist die philosophische Begründung der Möglichkeit gegenstandsbezogener Erfahrung. Einbildungskraft und Erfahrung bei Kant zeigt, dass die Einbildungskraft eine sowohl systematische als auch methodische Schlüsselrolle in dieser Begründung spielt, und rekonstruiert Kants Theorie der Einbildungskraft als ein Zentrum seiner Erkenntnistheorie.
