This two-volume textbook provides an introduction to the theory and practice of modern numerical methods. The most important methods can be downloaded as MATLAB programs from the publisher's website. The second volume covers numerical techniques for discrete and continuous approximation of functions such as numerical differentiation and integration, numerical interpolation methods and least-squares approximation.
