Kirstin Breitenfellner, geboren 1966 in Wien, aufgewachsen in Kufstein/Tirol und seit 1972 in Bensheim an der Bergstraße, Deutschland. Sie studierte Germanistik, Philosophie und Russisch an den Universitäten Heidelberg und Wien. Lebt und arbeitet seit 1989 in Wien als Schriftstellerin, Kinderbuchautorin, Literaturkritikerin, Übersetzerin, Journalistin und Yogalehrerin. Zuletzt erschien ihr Kinderbuch »Lisa und Lila dürfen bleiben« im Picus Verlag.
