Heart of Darkness. A Novel

Captain Charlie Marlow travels to the Congo on behalf of a Belgian trading company. His journey turns into a voyage into the darkest depths of colonialism and, at the same time, explores the fundamental questions of human existence.
Conrad wrote his magnificent novella in just a few weeks, drawing on his own harrowing experiences in the Congo.
