The concept of intertheology includes the idea that forward-looking cooperation between theologies is plausible, particularly in light of the thesis that, in the history of Judaism, Christianities, and Islam, key theological ideas and concepts have always emerged intertheologically that is, in creative, complex, and sometimes conflict-laden processes of interaction, appropriation, and differentiation.
