David Krems, 1977 geboren in Wien, aufgewachsen in Kaisermühlen. Studium der Theater-, Film- und Medienwissenschaft, Promotion über Fototheorie. Arbeiten in verschiedenen Bereichen der Fotografie und des Films. Seit 2009 Medienarchivar und Lehrbeauftragter an der Universität Wien. Experimentalfilmemacher mit zahlreichen internationalen Festivalteilnahmen. »Falsches Licht«, sein erster Roman, war für den Leo-Perutz-Preis 2018 sowie den Friedrich-Glauser-Preis 2019 nominiert. 2019 erschien sein zweiter Roman »Fast ein Wunder«.
