My introduction to feltmaking, was during my training as a shepherd, later I was educated as a textile designer from the Design School in Copenhagen. My inspiration I draw from nature and the dialogue with the material. Quite early I was deeply passionate about this technique and all the expressive possibilities this wonderful wool material provides. I have through all the years been fascinated by finding new expressions and techniques, as well as developing materials for felting such as needle felt for felting. I have worked with textile art and applied art since the late 70s.
