Apoleon Cheney wrote of General John Sullivan's Campaign of 1779, the Iroquois Indians and the history of central New York State. Focuses mostly on Elmira in Chemung County, but also includes history in Broome, Herkimer, Livingston, Montgomery, Onondaga, Ontario, Otsego, Schoharie, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga, and Ulster Counties.
