Description

In the today's era, abundant waste material is generated through processing units of stone industry. There is a need to enhance awareness by utilizing economical substitutes to solve the problem of these wastes. The utilization of crusher dust as fine aggregate for concrete has achieved more attention in recent yearS due to the limitation of natural river sand. Research is therefore required to list the environmental problems and to obtain sustainable construction. Waste management problems must be solved after replacing natural raw materials with waste. Crusher dust can be utilized as fine aggregate replacement so that the use of natural resources can be reduced more efficiently. This books deals with how crusher dust would be utilized to deliver new items as additive for sustainable concrete, and it reviews the effect of crusher dust in different concrete mix at various levels replacement of fine aggregate. This book shows that it is possible to use crusher dust in construction industry application as a partial replacement of fine aggregates up to optimum level.

Mr. Digvijay Singh Chouhan is Junior Research Fellow, in Department of Civil Engineering, CTAE, MPUAT, Udaipur. He obtained his Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University. His major research interests were in the areas of sustainable material, green concrete, environment.
