I wanted to write a story for children as they get to be developing or more confident readers. Sometimes that age comes with changing schools, or feeling a bit different from everyone around you. This book tackles both those themes. We all want children to accept themselves and others for who they are, and in this story, Bluebell discovers that she can just be who she really is. Q. Why should I give your books a try? A. I have been an illustrator for nearly a zillion years (or so it feels!) and I LOVE drawing wildlife.
