A multimodal approach to diagnosing oral and maxillofacial lesions in veterinary species Lesions of the oral cavity and jaws can be unique, and often represent a diagnostic challenge to the clinician and pathologist. Veterinary Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology focuses on methods for establishing a diagnosis and set of differential diagnoses. The gross and microscopic features of every lesion are described in detail, with color images, illustrations, and diagrams to support the text. The authors stress a holistic approach for establishing a meaningful diagnosis, considering patient signalment, lesion history, the opinion of the submitting clinician, and imaging findings.
