His previous publications include Douglas Livingstone (1981); Soweto Poetry (1982); South African English Poetry (1984); The Drum Decade (2001 [1989]); The New Century of South African Poetry (2002); Southern African Literatures (2003 [1996]); and The New Century of South African Short Stories (2004).
