Préface
A colourful and brilliantly researched study of closet homosexuality in twentieth-century British politics.

Auteur
Michael Bloch was born in 1953 and trained for the law. From 1979 he assisted Maître Suzanne Blum, the Parisian lawyer of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. He is the author of several books on the Windsors as well as other acclaimed works of non-fiction.

Texte du rabat

A study of closet homosexuality in 20th century British politics. Outwardly conforming to heterosexual middle class society, many British politicians had illicit queer sex lives. After the decriminalisation of homosexuality in 1967, the fear shifted from prosecution to exposure in the press.
