From this brief record of the poet's dwelling place, it will be seen that he was emphatically a Londoner and it is appropriate that at the Ter-centenary of his birth Londoners should unite to do honour to the memory of their great Citizen and Poet. That a special celebration in Stoke Newington should be possible is chie y due to the fact that the Chairman of the Public Libraries Committee, Wynne E. Baxter, Esq.
