Computational Approach to Sustainable System Modeling

Interdisciplinary approach is the best way forward when the future is bright with digital technology and modern systems to bring insights into solving and managing the real life issues. Arti cial intelligence approach to sustainability focuses on planning and optimization issues. In particular, when the focus is on solving environmental sustainability issues, AI becomes a good framework. Computational sustainability can contribute to the following areas:Modeling of natural resource management systems, Adaptation and mitigation systems, Knowledge representation and knowledge integration, Simulation of complex natural resource systems, Robust management system design to face black swans, Automated agent planning and action.
