Featuring the work of artists such as Rivera, Orozco, Siqueiros, Kahlo, and Izquierdo, Mexican Modern re-examines the multiple identities of Mexican modernism and Mexico's unsurpassed position in the arts during the early twentieth century.

The Mexican Revolution of 1910 erupted with its century, the first great social movement of the era. This catalogue presents the works by Los Tres Grandes: Diego Rivera, Jose Clemente Orozco, and David Alfaro Siqueiros, along with important works by artists less well known outside Mexico, such as Saturnino Herran, Abraham Angel, and others.
