Description

This series has been designed to offer students and researchers a compact means of orientation in their study of Anglophone literary texts. Each volume will introduce readers to current concepts and methodologies, as well as academic debates, by combining theory with text analysis and contextual anchoring.

This handbook aims at giving scholars an overview of the state of research and students a sense of how American poetry ranging from its first forms evolving from the 17-century settler colonies to its current digital modes has addressed issues and experiences central to human consciousness as much as to political lives over four centuries of cultural practice.

Auteur

Sabine Sielke, University of Bonn, Germany.
