Adam & Steve... a way of live, or just plain sin?

The majority of clergy will often condemn gay relationships matter in the strongest terms in public, but hardly talk about in in the pulpit. However, their tune begins to change when they are faced with the same matter in their personal lives e.g. when it is their son who turns out to be gay. They then begin to preach acceptance & accommodation of the said persons because it affects now people who are close to them. The correlation between between model behaviour and acceptance of a person behaviour should determine the direction a church leader needs take in-order to influence church members behaviours, attitudes and opinions.
