Mit dieser Tour hat Madonna sämtliche Rekorde gebrochen und der dabei entstandene Film erscheint am 15. September 2017 bei Eagle Vision als Download, DVD und Blu-ray mit Bonusinhalten sowie als Livealbum mit 22 Songs von der Rebel Heart Tour als Doppel-CD und Download. Außerdem werden DVD- und Blu-ray-Versionen mit einer Audio-CD mit Highlights von der gefeierten Tour erhältlich sein.

Die Aufnahmen für den Film MADONNA: REBEL HEART TOUR entstanden an unterschiedlichen Locations auf der ganzen Welt - sowohl auf der Bühne als auch hinter den Kulissen - und enthalten reichlich bisher unveröffentlichtes Material. Der Höhepunkt des Ganzen sind die Aufnahmen von den Shows in der Qudos Bank Arena (früher Allphones Arena) in Sydney, Australien, im März 2016. MADONNA: REBEL HEART TOUR enthält auch seltene Aufnahmen ihrer exklusiven Fanclub-Show MADONNA: TEARS OF A CLOWN in Melbourne, Australien, mit Musik, Kunst und natürlich viel Spaß.
