Lokeswar Patnaik works as Assistant Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University), Chennai, India. He received his Doctorate, Masters and Graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Silchar, University College of Engineering (Osmania University, Hyderabad) and National Institute of Technology Silchar in 2023, 2015 and 2011, respectively. His teaching interest includes Materials Science, Design, Production Technology, Additive manufacturing, Mechanical systems and all the related subjects.
Sunil Kumar has a passion in materials and tool design. Born in Bihar, India, he has done his schooling in Bihar followed by diploma in Tool Design from Central Institute of Tool Design, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, India. He has worked extensively as a material engineer and tool designer at various levels in manufacturing industry. He as done his bachelors from Uttar Pradesh Technical University in the year 2013 and Masters from University College of Engineering, Osmania University in 2015. He has obtained his doctorate from National Institute of Technology Silchar where he has worked on the development of thin films for tooling and biomedical applications.
Magdalena Lepicka is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Bialystok University of Technology, Poland. She obtained there her Engineer (2012), Master (2013), and Doctorate (2017) degrees. In 2018-2019, she worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, Braga, Portugal. She is an active researcher in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. Her scientific interests include, among others, surface modification methods for biomedical applications, as well as composite materials for dentistry.
Saikat Ranjan Maity is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar. Before joining NIT Silchar, he worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Production Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology (Haldia, West Bengal) from January 2009 to August 2010. He served as an Assistant Professor in the same department from September 2010 to November 2015. He also worked as a Research Scientist in the Ministry of Steel & TATA Steel sponsored project entitled 'Fatigue Behaviour Analysis of Spot Welded, Laser Welded and Adhesive Bonded High Strength Steel Sheet Joint from July 2008 to January 2009.
