The Format of Banks Websites

Nowadays any local or international bank is expected to have a website that fits the needs and interests of its community members. As in any other field, banks' websites are designed according to canons. Therefore, websites with the same purpose share particular similarities among them that can be described. This book focuses on non verbal features influencing on the communication in banks' websites. There are different items that that shall be considered when developing any website such as the format of the website, fonts, colors, pictures, or browsers, among others.

Ricardo Casañ-Pitarch is a PhD Professor at Universidad Catolica de Murcia (UCAM). His Main research interests are genre analysis and ESP. His PhD dissertation was based on a genre analysis. After he finished his PhD degree in Applied Linguistics, he has continued his research in the field.
