ThebookisbasedonthecontributionstotheWorkshoponLocalSearchfor Planning&Scheduling,heldonAugust21,2000atthe14thEuropeanCon- renceonArti?cialIntelligence(ECAI2000)inBerlin,Germany. Thearticleby HamiezandHaoaddressestheproblemofsports-leaguescheduling,presenting results achieved by a tabu search method based on a neighborhood of value swaps.
