Just Eat It isn't just a book. It's part of a movement to help us take back control over our bodies to help us feel good about ourselves.

The straight-talking guide to Intuitive Eating: how to develop a healthy, trusting relationship with food and your body.

Laura Thomas PhD, RNutr is a Registered Nutritionist who isn't afraid to tell it like it is. Having had her own strained and weird relationship with food, she now helps her clients build a healthy relationship with food by helping them tune into their own innate hunger and satiety cues and disconnect from diet tools like meal plans and calorie trackers using a process called intuitive eating, together with other non-diet approaches.

In 2016 Laura launched Don't Salt My Game - a podcast that calls out diet trends and myths - to tell you what you really need to know to stay on top of your game. Laura was the Nutrition Consultant for the BBC1 documentary Mind Over Marathon where she supported people suffering with mental health problems train for the 2017 London Marathon. She is an Association for Nutrition Media Nutritionist and has appeared on a BBC News Facebook Live stream. Author of Just Eat It, her writing has appeared in Hip and Healthy, Huffington Post, New Scientist, and Spectator Health, and she provides comment for publications such as Men's Health, the Guardian, and Red magazine.

Have you ever been on a diet? Spent time obsessing about your body when you could have been doing something useful? Compared your waistline to the size of someone else's? Felt guilt, actual guilt, about the serious crime of . . . eating a doughnut? You're not alone.

Registered Nutritionist Laura Thomas PhD presents this straight-talking guide to Intuitive Eating: the simple practice that will help you phase out diet tools like meal plans and calorie trackers and encourage a more peaceful attitude to food and your body.

'Laura is one of the most important voices in food today. She has a rare combination of impeccable academic credentials, clinical experience and a nose for the profound social justice issues at the heart of nutrition science.' The Angry Chef, Anthony Warner
