The Author: Carlos Thomaz G. Lopes (born in 1942) has a law degree from the University of Minas Gerais (Brazil) and attended management courses at Harvard Business School (Boston, Mass). He has been a bank officer and worked in an investment company. The author lives in Rio de Janeiro and wrote two other books on corporate and state planning.
