For the First Year Course for engineers there are similarly three volumes of. Machine Construction, Practical Mathematics, and Applied Mechanics, and arrangements will be made for groups of text-books similarly adapted to the requirements of students in other trades. It is hoped that the series may do some thing to assist teachers In the reorganization of their courses in accordance with the present requirements of educational and industrial progress.
