BC HARTWELL grew up in Lyons, IL, a small suburb of Chicago where the pursuit of adventure was admired and the ability to tell a good story, prized. At the age of eight he knew he wanted to do both. So he went on to become a professional travel guide, enjoying a variety of adventures over a thirteen-year career: bus tours, cruises, business retreats, winter ski weeks and spring break excursions. While so many of his life experiences make for good storytelling, his passionate voice and spiritual sense make those stories memorable.
