This book constitutes the proceedings of the 6th International Workshop on Symbiotic Interaction, Symbiotic 2017, held in Eindhoven, The Netherlands in December 2017. The 8 full papers, 2 short papers and 1 report presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 23 submissions.

The International Workshop on Symbiotic Interaction is the primary venue for presenting scientific work dealing with the symbiotic relationships between humans and computers and for discussing the nature and implications of such relationships.
