This book examines how the rise of China has influenced its cross-regional foreign policy towards non-Arab countries in the Middle East between 2001-2011, analyzing contemporary international crises in the Middle East such as the Iran nuclear crisis, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and the Cyprus question.

Kadir Temiz teaches Politics of East Asia, China in World Politics, Chinese Foreign Policy, and Current Issues in Chinese Foreign Policy at Istanbul Medeniyet University. His research interests include modern Chinese history, Chinese foreign policy and international relations, East Asia, and China's relations with Middle Eastern countries.
