Ranu Jung is the co-director for the Center for Adaptive Neural Systems in the Biodesign Institute, as well as an associate professor in bioengineering at the Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University, USA. Jung, wo earned her first degree at the National Institute of Technology of India, joined the Fulton School in 2002 from the Center for Biomedical Engineering at the University of Kentucky, where she served as an associate professor.
